Entertain your guests in style by hosting your event at the Club at Wingtip. Situated atop the historic 1908 Bank of Italy building in downtown San Francisco, Wingtip is the modern day version of the classic social club, an urban refuge for people who appreciate quality and craftsmanship. We have restored the 13,000 square foot duplex penthouse to highlight the original dark wood and hand painted wallpaper that reflect the building’s Gold Coast roots.

We welcome private and corporate events for up to 100 people. Past events have included wine & spirits tastings, cocktail receptions, birthdays & anniversaries, closing dinners, board meetings, and photo shoots.

Most of our private event space is located on the 11th floor Penthouse. We offer exclusive use or partial buyouts of our 11th floor space in various configurations of our five adjoining rooms. The 11th floor features arched door frames with solid hardwood and beveled glass doors, hardwood floors, antique rugs, classic wall sconces and chandeliers, 11 foot ceilings, and historic details; the perfect backdrop for your event.

THE Landmark

For the intimate Wingtip experience, celebrate with the Landmark rental. The Landmark rental includes a configuration of two rooms, either, the Coit Bar and Pyramid Dining Room or the Coit Bar and Poker Room.

The Penthouse

Entertain your guests in Wingtip-style with exclusive use of the 11th floor Penthouse (Full Floor Buyout), including all five adjoining parlor rooms. The Penthouse includes floor to ceiling windows with landmark building and city views.

Feel like you've been transported to a wine cave in the south of France. The Clubs' 2,000 bottle, temperature-controlled wine cellar is the backdrop, along with the wine locker room where members store their own wine. The Wine Cave is dimly lit intentionally, with no televisions in sight, for a more intimate experience.

We have worked with our Executive Chef Brian Moll to develop our private event banquet menus. For our larger events, we work with our preferred catering partners.
