Martini Master Class

The Martini isn’t just a fancy (and rather inconvenient, to be honest) glass - it’s truly a way of life. Come learn about this cocktail’s fascinating history, from the Martinez to the Vesper to the 50/50 and beyond, with resident Spirit Guide Josh Gelfand. This class will focus primarily on gin’s role in the evolution of the cocktail, but we will also explore the growth of vodka’s place in history. We’ll discuss the role and importance of vermouth as well, and how it’s use is falling back into favor amongst aficionados. We will also learn about proper technique, shaking versus stirring, and the importance of the garnish. Finally, you will have the opportunity to choose 2 different martini variations from the many different styles you’ll learn about and make them yourselves, under Josh’s guidance.

Tickets are $60/person. Light fare will be included, as well as a light welcome cocktail. Seats are limited and members are welcomed to bring a guest. Please email to RSVP.
