History of Tea 101

If Wingtip is about anything it is about connoisseurship. The vision of this space as it was explained to me was to facilitate the passions of it's membership. When it comes to the second most consumed beverage on the planet we treat it no differently nor with any less respect than we do with whisky, wine, or of course cheese.

For the tea lovers of the group come join Matt Gill to welcome the estimable Roy Fong. Roy is the owner of the Imperial Tea Court and an ITMA Certified Grand Tea Master. We will be covering basic tea information in preparation for our following 201 class. The 101 will cover the history of Chinese and Taiwanese Tea. We will also be tasting a seasonal selection of May harvest from China and wrapping it all up with a tasty buffet lunch. For you tea drinkers out there don't miss out.
